Our Executive Team
Michelle Gleeson
Michelle is a founder, community builder, and executive leader in technology. Through her long career from software developer to CTO she has worked hard to make the tech industry more equitable, with a mission to get more women into leadership positions. This has led her to first founding the Tech Leading Ladies group, and then her new startup Kaleida: building a software platform that removes systemic barriers to promotion faced by women in technology.
Gretchen Scott
Gretchen is a trailblazer in the tech industry, celebrated for her innovative leadership and unwavering dedication to diversity and inclusion. As a founder of Kaleida, she empowers organisations to build skill-based teams that truly reflect the kaleidoscope of society.
A seasoned public speaker, Gretchen has shared her expertise on platforms such as EntrepreneurHer and RRR Radio, and emcees all of the Churchill Club events. She’s also spoken at leading conferences, including WebDirections CodeLeaders and DDD Melbourne, and hosted a series on Cloudflare TV. She is also a published author on LeadDev. Her passion lies in driving diversity within technology, making her a key figure in shaping the industry's future.
Susan Brander
Susan has a history of leading teams that deliver cloud native platforms that balances the need to experiment and learn in an emerging market with reliability expected of customer focused systems.
She believes in the importance of giving teams the domain and business context to enable informed technical decisions, while challenging them to improve their knowledge and core competencies over time. She is an agent of change who models and champions technology choices and practices that enable the delivery of customer value quickly and reliably.
Susan also co-founded & is an organiser of Tech Leading Ladies in Melbourne, a group focused on bridging the gender gap in technical leadership.
